VIKKI QUOTED ON POPEATER.COM

According to www.Popeater.com 'Bones' star David Boreanaz is joining the Tiger Woods' club of infidelity. (Other members include Jesse James and Tiki Barber.) Boreanaz admits to PEOPLE that he was unfaithful to his wife of 9 years, Jaime Bergman. "Our marriage has been tainted with my infidelities. I just want to be open and honest. I was irresponsible," he revealed. The actor is coming forward because his former mistress threatened him. "I was associated with a woman who I was involved with and had a relationship with. She asked for money. I felt as though I was being blackmailed or there was some sort of extortion." He says now he's focusing on Bergman. "We're working on our marriage. We're working on repairing what has been damaged so badly." According to TMZ, the woman hired Gloria Allred, who contacted Boreanaz's lawyer, demanding money. Rather than pay up, the actor came clean. Boreanaz and the unnamed mistress allegedly met two or three times, and he had already paid her thousands of dollars. Interestingly enough, TMZ says that the woman is not Rachel Uchitel -- also an Allred client -- who David reportedly had an affair with last year. RadarOnline, however, is reporting that the woman involved is indeed Uchitel, who you may know from such past sex scandals as the infamous Tiger Woods fiasco. Star magazine claims that the former 'Angel' star and Tiger Woods' mistress number one hooked up while Bergman was pregnant with their second child. (The couple have two children -- 8-year-old Jaden and 8-month old Bardot.) "He was attracted to Rachel and asked her for her number. She gave him her card, and he texted her that night to have a drink with him. She went, and they had a major connection," an insider told Star. According to the source, Rachel and David had a lot of chemistry. "David would walk in the door, and they'd have sex right away. He told her, 'Every time I have sex with you is like the first time.'" The supposed last straw for Uchitel, however, was when Boreanaz called her when his wife went into labor. "He was on the phone with Rachel, giving updates. That grossed her out, because she felt that should have been private." "There is no such thing as 'secret romance' in cheating terms anymore," attorney Vikki Ziegler tells PopEater. "Male celebrities don't only have to worry about their scorned wives leaving them and taking up to half of their net worth -- today the trend is worrying about ex-mistresses requesting money to keep quiet and lots of it. If Tiger, Charlie and Jesse haven't taught Hollywood at large their love lessons who will?" Get More From Ziegler >>> Boreanaz and Bergman met on Valentine's Day in 2001. In November of that year, they married in a small ceremony. Plans for a bigger wedding in September had been postponed due to the September 11 attacks. "I never thought I could feel like this," David said at the time. "Celebrating our love -- that's what our marriage is about," Bergman added. "And starting a family." A few months later, in May of 2002, Jaime gave birth to their first son. So can Boreanaz repair what's been broken? "Jaime will have to dig deep to salvage this marriage when she finds out about the dirty details of David's sexcapades," says Ziegler, who can't believe Boreanaz's mind would have been wandering while his wife was pregnant. "How low can you go? Narcissism is truly an epidemic in Hollywood. Good luck Jaime, but not sure you should throw a dog a bone."
